Ingredients

1 cup fresh blueberries

1 cup water (for blueberry syrup)

1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender

1 cup water (for lavender infusion)

1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (approximately 3-4 lemons)

1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

4 cups cold water (for dilution)

Optional garnishes: lemon slices, fresh blueberries, and lavender sprigs

Instructions

Prepare the Blueberry Syrup:

    - In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of fresh blueberries and 1 cup of water over medium heat.

      - Stir gently to combine, then bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

        - Allow it to cook for about 10 minutes, occasionally mashing the blueberries with the back of a spoon to release their juices.

          - Once cooked, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl to filter out the solids, leaving you with a vibrant blueberry syrup. Set the syrup aside to cool.

            Infuse the Lavender:

              - In another small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a rolling boil.

                - Remove the saucepan from heat and immediately add 1 tablespoon of dried culinary lavender. Stir lightly to combine, then cover and steep for about 10 minutes.

                  - After steeping, strain the lavender water through a fine mesh sieve to remove the lavender flowers. Set aside to cool.

                    Combine the Lemonade Ingredients:

                      - In a large pitcher, add the cooled blueberry syrup, lavender infusion, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar.

                        - Stir vigorously until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is well combined.

                          Dilute and Chill:

                            - Pour in 4 cups of cold water into the pitcher and gently stir to mix. Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness if needed, adding more sugar or lemon juice based on your personal preference.

                              - Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill and allow the flavors to blend beautifully.

                                Serve:

                                  - To serve, fill glasses with ice and pour the refreshing blueberry lavender lemonade over the ice.

                                    - For an elegant presentation, garnish each glass with a few lemon slices, fresh blueberries, and a sprig of lavender.

Enjoy this delightful and aromatic twist on classic lemonade!
