1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Just before draining, reserve about 1 cup of the pasta cooking water to use later. Drain the pasta and set aside.
