Ingredients

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup cream cheese, softened to room temperature

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1/2 cup fresh jalapeños, finely diced (adjust according to heat preference)

1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for an extra kick)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)

Hot sauce (for serving, optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Prepare the Filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, finely diced jalapeños, and chopped green onions. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper (if desired). Season with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper. Mix all the ingredients together until they are thoroughly combined and smooth.

Assemble the Wraps: Place a flour tortilla on a clean, flat surface. Using a spatula or the back of a spoon, spread approximately 1/4 of the cheese filling mixture evenly over the tortilla, making sure to leave a small border (about 1/2 inch) around the edges. Carefully roll the tortilla up, starting from one end and tightly rolling to the other. Once rolled, slice the tortilla into 2-inch thick pieces to create bite-sized wraps.

Coat the Wraps: In a shallow dish, evenly spread out the panko breadcrumbs. Take each sliced wrap and roll it in the breadcrumbs, making sure to coat all sides, pressing gently to ensure the crumbs stick.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the coated wrap pieces onto the prepared baking sheet, with the seam side facing down to help prevent them from unrolling during baking. Lightly brush the tops with olive oil for added crispiness.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the wraps are golden brown and crispy. Remember to rotate the tray halfway through the baking time to ensure even browning.

Serve: Once baked, remove the wraps from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes. Serve warm, accompanied by hot sauce on the side for dipping, if you like a little extra spice.

                Prep Time: 20 min | Total Time: 40 min | Servings: 4-6
