Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1 large apple (a sweet variety such as Fuji or Honeycrisp is recommended), cored and diced into small pieces

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust based on your preferred level of sweetness)

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup granola (optional, for an added crunch)

Silicone ring molds or donut-shaped ice cube trays

Instructions

Prepare the Yogurt Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, add the plain Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Use a whisk or spatula to thoroughly combine the ingredients until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and evenly blended.

Incorporate the Apples: Gently fold in the diced apple pieces into the yogurt mixture, making sure the apple chunks are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt.

Mold the Rings: Spoon the yogurt-apple mixture into the silicone ring molds or donut-shaped ice cube trays. Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to smooth out the tops for a nice, even surface. If desired, sprinkle a small amount of granola on top of each ring for an added crunch and texture.

Freeze: Carefully place the filled molds in the freezer and allow them to freeze for a minimum of 4-6 hours, or until they are completely solid.

Unmold the Rings: Once the yogurt rings are fully frozen, gently remove them from the molds. If they are resistant to coming out, run warm water over the outside of the mold for a few seconds to help loosen the rings.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve the frosty yogurt rings immediately as a delightful and refreshing treat, or store them in an airtight container in the freezer for later enjoyment. These yogurt rings are perfect for cooling off on hot summer days or as a nutritious dessert option!

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 6 hours (including freezing) | Servings: 6-8 rings

                - Presentation Tips: For an eye-catching presentation, serve the frozen yogurt rings on a decorative platter, and consider garnishing with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a few additional diced apples for color.
