Ingredients

4 ears of fresh corn

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup honey

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for desired heat)

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Corn: Start by carefully slicing each ear of corn in half lengthwise, creating two long halves. Next, cut each half into quarters to form rib-like sections. You will end up with approximately 8 corn ribs per ear, totaling around 32 ribs.

Make the Honey Butter Sauce: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and honey. Add the garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Whisk vigorously until all ingredients are thoroughly blended and the sauce is smooth.

Preheat the Grill or Oven: If you’re grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. For oven baking, preheat to 400°F (200°C) to ensure even cooking.

Coat the Corn Ribs: In a large mixing bowl, place the cut corn ribs. Pour the honey butter mixture over the ribs and toss them gently but thoroughly, ensuring each rib is evenly coated in the delicious sauce.

Grill or Bake the Corn Ribs:

            - Grilling: Arrange the coated corn ribs on the grill grate. Grill them for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally to achieve a tender texture and char marks.

              - Baking: Lay the corn ribs in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway to ensure they become golden and crispy around the edges.

Serve: Once cooked to perfection, remove the corn ribs from the grill or oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for color and flavor. If you love sweetness, drizzle a bit more honey over the top before serving.

                  Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 4

Presentation Tips: Serve the corn ribs on a large platter, scattering some extra parsley on top for visual appeal. Provide small bowls of additional honey for drizzling at the table if desired. Enjoy!
