Ingredients

1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup marinara sauce

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup sliced salami

½ cup slices of prosciutto

½ cup sliced pepperoni

½ cup sliced black olives

1 small red onion, thinly sliced

¼ cup pickled jalapeños (optional)

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 tablespoons olive oil

Flour for dusting

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 475°F (245°C). For optimal results, place a pizza stone or a baking sheet inside the oven to heat up as well.

Roll Out the Dough: On a clean, floured surface, roll out the pizza dough until it reaches your desired thickness. Aim for a circular shape, approximately 12-14 inches in diameter. Once rolled, transfer the dough onto a piece of parchment paper to facilitate easy handling when moving it to the oven.

Spread the Sauce: Using a spoon, evenly distribute the marinara sauce across the pizza dough, leaving about a half-inch border around the edge to form a nice crust.

Add Cheese: Generously sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, ensuring even coverage for a deliciously cheesy bite.

Layer the Charcuterie: Arrange the sliced salami, prosciutto, and pepperoni artfully atop the cheese. Feel free to get creative with the design while aiming to cover the surface effectively.

Add Vegetables: Evenly scatter the sliced black olives, thinly sliced red onion, and pickled jalapeños (if you're using them) over the charcuterie layer for added flavor and crunch.

Season: Drizzle the olive oil across the toppings. Then sprinkle with garlic powder, and the finely chopped fresh rosemary and basil. Don’t forget to add salt and pepper to taste for an extra flavor kick.

Bake the Pizza: Carefully slide the pizza (along with the parchment paper) onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust achieves a beautiful golden brown color and the cheese is bubbly and melted.

Slice and Serve: Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Slice into wedges and serve while hot. For an added touch, consider garnishing with additional fresh herbs!
