Ingredients

4 cups water

3 black tea bags (substitute with green tea for a more delicate flavor)

1 ripe mango, peeled and diced into small pieces

2 passionfruits, halved with pulp scooped out

1/4 cup honey (or adjust according to your sweetness preference)

1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Brew the Tea: In a medium-sized pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil. Once boiling, remove the pot from heat and add the tea bags. Allow them to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea. After steeping, remove the tea bags and let the brewed tea cool at room temperature.

Prepare the Mango and Passionfruit: While the tea is cooling, take a blender and add the diced mango along with the scooped pulp from the passionfruits. Blend the mixture until smooth. If you prefer a chunkier texture, blend for a shorter time until it reaches your desired consistency.

Sweeten the Tea: Once the tea has completely cooled, add the honey to the pot. Stir thoroughly until the honey is fully dissolved into the tea. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey if desired.

Mix It All Together: In a large pitcher, pour in the cooled sweetened tea, then add the mango-passionfruit mixture and the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir until well combined, ensuring the fruit is evenly distributed throughout the tea.

Serve It Up: Fill tall glasses with ice cubes. Gently pour the tropical mango passionfruit iced tea over the ice to keep it refreshingly cold. If desired, garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves for an aromatic touch.

Chill and Enjoy: For the best flavor experience, place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least one hour before serving. Enjoy this deliciously refreshing tropical drink with friends and family!
