Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for optimal juiciness)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or American cheese)

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp olive oil

1 head of butter lettuce (or iceberg lettuce), leaves carefully separated

1 small tomato, finely diced

½ cup dill pickles, chopped

¼ cup red onion, finely diced

2 tbsp ketchup

2 tbsp mustard

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Beef Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Using your hands, mix gently until all the ingredients are just combined. Be careful not to overwork the meat to maintain tenderness.

Form Mini Patties: Divide the beef mixture into 8 even portions. Shape each portion into small patties, measuring about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter for easy wrapping.

Cook the Patties: Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. When the skillet is hot, add the mini patties. Cook each side for approximately 3-4 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C). During the last minute of cooking, generously sprinkle shredded cheese over each patty and cover the skillet with a lid to help the cheese melt perfectly.

Assemble the Lettuce Wraps: Take a leaf of lettuce and lay it flat. Place a melted cheese mini patty in the center of the leaf. Top the patty generously with diced tomatoes, chopped dill pickles, and finely diced red onions.

Add Condiments: Drizzle your favorite ketchup and mustard over the top of the toppings. For an added touch, sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.

Serve & Enjoy: Gently wrap the lettuce around the filling to create a bite-sized burger. Dig in and relish these delicious bites, perfect as a low-carb alternative to traditional cheeseburgers!
