Ingredients

8 oz spaghetti

1 lb ground beef or turkey

1 packet taco seasoning

1 cup marinara sauce

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup sour cream

12 mini taco shells (or cut regular taco shells in half)

Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Cook the Spaghetti: In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain the spaghetti and set it aside.

Prepare the Meat: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef or turkey. Cook thoroughly until the meat is browned and no longer pink, using a spatula to break it into small crumbles. Once browned, drain any excess fat from the skillet.

Season the Meat: Sprinkle in the taco seasoning, followed by 1/4 cup of water. Stir the mixture well and allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.

Combine Spaghetti & Marinara: Next, add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, mixing it with the seasoned meat. Pour in the marinara sauce and stir until the spaghetti is uniformly coated with the sauce.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) so it’s ready for baking.

Assemble Taco Bites: Arrange the mini taco shells on a baking sheet. Generously fill each shell with the spaghetti and meat mixture.

Add Cheese: Sprinkle a layer of shredded cheddar cheese over each filled taco shell for that extra cheesy goodness.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in your preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly on top.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the taco bites from the oven. Top each one with fresh shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a dollop of sour cream. If you like, add a sprinkle of fresh cilantro for a pop of color and flavor.

Enjoy: Serve the mini spaghetti taco bites warm and relish in the playful mix of flavors!
