Ingredients

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

⅓ cup granulated sugar

2 ripe bananas, sliced

1 cup heavy whipping cream

8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup instant vanilla pudding mix

2 cups milk

Whipped cream, for topping

Chocolate shavings or additional banana slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Crust: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Stir until the crumbs are evenly moistened. Take about a tablespoon of the mixture and press it firmly into the bottom of 8 small dessert cups or ramekins, forming a compact crust. Set the cups aside.

Make the Cream Filling: In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese using an electric mixer until it's smooth and creamy. Gradually incorporate the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly until well blended and fluffy. In another bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk, stirring until it thickens, which should take about 2 minutes.

Combine Cream and Pudding: In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream using clean beaters until soft peaks begin to form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until the two combine smoothly. Next, fold in the thickened vanilla pudding mixture until everything is well blended and creamy.

Layer the Cups: Start by placing a generous spoonful of the creamy filling over the graham cracker crust in each cup. Arrange a layer of fresh banana slices on top of the filling. Repeat these layers until you fill the cups, ending with a final layer of the cream filling.

Chill: Cover each cup with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. This allows the flavors to meld beautifully and the dessert to set.

Serve: When ready to serve, remove the cups from the refrigerator. Top each with a generous dollop of fluffy whipped cream and, if desired, sprinkle with chocolate shavings or place additional banana slices on top for a lovely finishing touch.

Enjoy your delectable no-bake banana cream pie cups!
