Ingredients

1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce

3 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Cauliflower: Begin by rinsing the cauliflower under cold water. Gently pat it dry with a kitchen towel. Cut the cauliflower into evenly-sized bite-sized florets and place them into a large mixing bowl to ensure even seasoning.

Make the Spicy Sauce: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the olive oil, Sriracha sauce, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, sea salt, and black pepper. Whisk the ingredients together thoroughly until they are completely blended into a smooth sauce.

Coat the Cauliflower: Pour the spicy sauce over the cauliflower florets in the mixing bowl. Using a spatula or your hands, gently toss the florets until each piece is generously coated in the sweet and spicy glaze.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to preheat at 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes. This step ensures that the cauliflower bites will cook evenly and get crispy.

Air Fry the Cauliflower: Carefully place the coated cauliflower florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd them. Leave a bit of space between each piece for optimal air circulation. If necessary, spread the florets across multiple batches.

Cooking Time: Air fry the cauliflower for approximately 12-15 minutes. Halfway through the cooking time, shake the basket to check the progress and ensure even crispiness. The florets should emerge golden brown and crunchy by the end of cooking.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, transfer the cauliflower bites from the air fryer to a serving platter. Sprinkle freshly chopped cilantro and toasted sesame seeds on top for an added layer of flavor and a pop of color. Serve warm as an enticing side dish or a delectable appetizer!
